Restaurant Link, a leading U.S. provider of cost-saving and sales-enhancing solutions for foodservice operators and suppliers, faced rapid growth that threatened to overwhelm its systems with exponential volumes of raw rebate and process data. Mize Houser & Co. P.A. customized an integrated accounting system built with GeneXus (originally GeneXus 9.0, later upgraded to GeneXus X in Java) to address the urgent capacity and performance challenge.

Using a GeneXus-based Java solution running on DB2/Linux/Tomcat, the vendor delivered a flexible, high-performance web system that went into production in December 2007 and successfully handled the large and growing number of records without breaching system capacity. GeneXus enabled fast, accurate development and easy future changes, producing measurable operational improvements by preventing data overload and stabilizing Restaurant Link’s accounting and reporting processes.
