Paraguay’s National Service for Plant and Seed Quality and Health (SENAVE) selected GeneXus for developing its Operational IT System

Paraguay’s National Service for Plant and Seed Quality and Health (SENAVE) selected GeneXus to develop its Operational IT System (SIOS) and its Gross Rating Point (GRP). SENAVE, which certifies imports and exports of plant products, struggled with fragmented data in R:BASE, spreadsheets and paper files, causing repetitive processes, poor communication between areas and tasks that could take up to two weeks.

GeneXus implemented a single, multi‑platform database and rapid development solution (SIOS/GRP, powered by GXportal), simplifying development and integrating workflows. As a result, processes that once took up to two weeks now take a couple of days, productivity rose by 80% and SENAVE realized about US$700,000 in savings.
