Optimizing HR management processes for 90,000 public sector workers with GXflow

SGH engaged GeneXus to optimize attendance management across the Central Government for about 90,000 employees. Faced with geographically dispersed units and the need to automate incidence reporting, approvals and current-account queries, SGH selected GeneXus technologies (GeneXus, GXserver and GXflow) to build a scalable, web‑based solution that would eliminate paper processes, decentralize control and increase transparency.

GeneXus delivered SGH 2.0—a full web application built with GeneXus, GXserver and GXflow (and GXportal) that automates workflows and enables self-service reporting and authorizations. The rollout across 121 executive units is targeting 90,000 users, has cut paper use by about 50%, eliminated paper forms/signatures and waiting times, and produced faster, more transparent HR processes with measurable labor savings; additional modules and touch‑screen terminals are planned to extend coverage.
