A GeneXus Case Study
Mitsubishi turned to GeneXus to integrate its Mainframe and SAP systems after adopting the tool in Japan in 2003. Facing a shortage of Mainframe-skilled engineers, high technology update costs, and difficulty developing new capabilities, Mitsubishi needed a solution that was easy to learn, maintain, and that would speed up development across its global operations.
GeneXus was used to create prototypes during data analysis, simplify DBMS operations and coding, and intermediate SAP with web applications, making development much more efficient. As a result, GeneXus delivered higher productivity, easier maintenance, and significant cost and time savings—reducing work and costs by about 50% and avoiding roughly 100–200 hours of extra effort that would have been required without the tool.
