Médica Santa Carmen, a renal health clinic network in Mexico, needed a more scalable and flexible way to manage its growing operations and patient data. Its previous low-code system could not keep up with expansion, creating fragmented applications, separate databases, and maintenance challenges, so the company turned to GeneXus to find a more robust platform.

GeneXus, implemented through SANUS 2.0 with support from Fusion IT, centralized all patient and operational information in a single AWS-hosted database and integrated HL7, IMSS, CURP, and GeneXus Access Manager (GAM). The solution streamlined treatment management, reporting, and clinic expansion across 11 branches, improved security and reliability, and enabled Médica Santa Carmen to scale quickly with a team of just three developers while supporting more than 30,000 therapies per month.
