Viña del Mar Music Festival needed a modern mobile channel to bring the event nearer to fans, provide program and artist details, enable social interaction and notifications for favorite acts, and work offline for users abroad. To meet this challenge the festival commissioned a native iOS/Android app (Festival Viña del Mar 2017) developed by ADMAIN Consultores and pixelstudio using GeneXus, leveraging the latest GeneXus version and Live Editing technology.
Using GeneXus, the team delivered a native, offline-capable app with real-time notifications, social sharing and streaming, and a polished UI/UX, giving users one-stop access to news, schedules and interactive features. GeneXus’ Live Editing accelerated development and deployment, and the app achieved faster, more fluid communication and greater fan engagement and loyalty — the case study notes these qualitative impacts though no specific numeric metrics were provided.
