How Pagnifique's business grew by developing GeneXus applications to add power to SAP Business One

Pagnifique, a Uruguayan maker of deep‑frozen bakery products that supplies 115 bakeries locally and exports across Mexico, Paraguay and the United States, needed to scale and automate complex logistics and distribution processes beyond what their SAP Business One ERP could deliver out of the box. To add tailored functionality and integrate specific business rules into SAP Business One, Pagnifique adopted GeneXus (GeneXus for SAP) to extend and customize their ERP workflows.

Using GeneXus, the vendor developed web systems and mobile applications that connect to SAP Business One via OData and follow the SAP Fiori UX, including a logistics app placed between the route planner and SAP pickup lists to automate order routing and merchandise assignment when stock is short. GeneXus’ low‑code approach accelerated delivery of solutions that route thousands of orders per month, replaced Excel‑based processes in Quality, enabled warehouse mobility and ongoing truck‑loading and returns apps, and helped Pagnifique scale operations that now support over 2,000,000 boxes annually. GeneXus’ extensions improved process automation, integration and speed of development while supporting the company’s continued growth.
