Field Data Survey System with GeneXus X

BBL-NE, a sanitation service provider in Brazil with branches in Sao Paulo, Maceió and Natal, needed an integrated solution to create official customer and water-connection records for projects across the Northeast. They engaged AquaVisum to develop a tailored field-survey application built with GeneXus (GeneXus X and GeneXus 9) to support multilingual, mobile data capture and highly configurable registration workflows.

Using GeneXus, AquaVisum delivered a universal web application (Java generator, IBM DB2 Express v9) that dynamically creates data-entry screens and syncs mobile devices via USB, WiFi or GPRS. The GeneXus-based solution removed the need to reprogram for each project, accelerated data analysis and field management, and positioned BBL-NE to scale operations and take on new projects.
