CRRC Electric, a high‑tech Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles, needed to rebuild its information platform in 2018 to support rapid growth, unify technical architecture, and overcome a shortage of technical personnel. The company chose the GeneXus low‑code platform—using GeneXus, GeneXus Business Process Management, GeneXus Server, GXtest and GeneXus for SAP Systems—to accelerate development of web and mobile apps and integrate systems quickly.

Using GeneXus, CRRC Electric implemented a unified technology platform (Web Portal, CRM, SRM, OA, MES, ASS, WMS, HR, Process Center and QMS) and integrated with SAP so tasks that once took a full day now take about an hour. The GeneXus solution increased productivity, improved efficiency and systems integration, strengthened R&D capabilities and helped support CRRC Electric’s delivery of nearly 50,000 ecological vehicles, contributing to reduced pollutant emissions.
