CONDUSEF implements app to administer household budget with GeneXus

CONDUSEF, the Mexican National Committee for Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services, faced the challenge of moving beyond legacy Microsoft Access and Visual Basic 6 systems to deliver web and mobile tools that promote financial education. To create a mobile-friendly budgeting app called "Family Budget" and provide citizens with better financial management resources, CONDUSEF partnered with GeneXus (presented via GXportal) to find a rapid development platform.

GeneXus implemented the solution using its platform to build the Family Budget app, enabling users to track monthly income, expenses and savings and calculate saving capacity. The app has delivered measurable impact with 2,800 downloads on the App Store and Google Play, giving CONDUSEF a scalable, mobile channel to advance its financial-education mission.
