Chopo Mobile is the consumer-facing app from Chopo Med Lab that set out to improve customer service and cut time and cost for patients and physicians accessing lab results. To deliver secure, mobile access to study results and histories on iOS and Android, Chopo Mobile used GeneXus technology, powered by GXportal.

GeneXus implemented a mobile-enabled results portal that lets patients retrieve lab tests with a reference and customer number and lets physicians register and search by reference or patient name; the app has exceeded 32,000 downloads and averages about 1,000 downloads per platform monthly. As a result, GeneXus’s GXportal has driven measurable engagement—about 50% of users view their results online—improving service speed and reducing administrative burden for Chopo Mobile.
