China First Heavy Industries - Customer Case Study

China First Heavy Industries (CFHI), one of 53 key state-owned enterprises managed by the Chinese Central Committee, needed a competitive edge and a single information system to cover purchases, inventory, production and other business processes after previously using Delphi-based systems. After an exhaustive selection process CFHI chose Beijing Mulink Technology, Co. Ltd (Mulinktech), a GeneXus distributor, to build a GeneXus-based ERP tailored to its heavy-equipment business.

Mulinktech implemented an ERP built with GeneXus (Java generator) and Oracle, deployed on an IBM P630 Unix server, integrating CFHI’s existing applications and enabling rapid, user-driven customization as requirements evolved. The GeneXus solution has been running for two years with clear operational benefits—faster development and implementation times and comprehensive coverage of core processes (purchases, inventory, production).
