CDS updates toll control system with GeneXus

CDS, a system development company serving a toll concessionaire in São Paulo, needed to modernize its traffic control and toll collection platform to keep pace with digital transformation trends such as free flow. To do this, CDS migrated its long-running system from GeneXus version 9 to GeneXus 17.

Using GeneXus, CDS updated and further automated the toll management solution, which tracks billing, collections, vehicle flow, daily operations, and event corrections across ten toll stations. The migration was completed in less than a year by a small team, and the new platform now supports real-time tag-based payments and is designed to evolve with future free-flow tolling requirements.
