Canon is a major importer and marketer of imaging and digital solutions in Mexico that needed to streamline the flow of information from Sales Planning to Purchases, Imports, Logistics and Finance to support growing sales and distribution. To modernize its supply chain and enable scalable, real-time data sharing across divisions (ISG and CIG), Canon selected an ERP solution built on GeneXus.

GeneXus implemented a fully integrated ERP that linked Sales Planning with existing systems, cutting inventory turnover and accelerating import and logistics processes at lower cost while reducing time spent on purchase-planning analysis through real-time information sharing. The GeneXus-based approach also boosted development productivity—more than five applications were delivered in six months—thanks to strong database management, scalability and rapid application development.
