Brazil Convênio Médico Policlin Saúde digitalized its health plan management

Policlin Saúde, a Brazilian health plan operator, needed to replace a single legacy program and automate management processes across its beneficiary and provider records to meet regulatory and operational demands. To accomplish this, it engaged Dash Engenharia de Sistemas, a GeneXus agent, and used the GeneXus low-code platform (including the .NET version) to develop a full computerized health-plan solution quickly.

Dash built core systems—Registry Controls, Invoicing, Medical Audits, Costs—plus a real-time web portal and web services management that automated authorizations for nearly 50,000 lives and electronic monthly billing from 560 providers. After two years of positive results, Policlin Saúde acquired GeneXus licenses, created an internal development team, and continues to use the GeneXus platform to speed development, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain ongoing system improvements.
