Bovitrato manages the nutrition of the entire life cycle of cattle with GeneXus

Bovitrato, a livestock management company created through the partnership between FMX and Seys, needed to modernize and automate cattle nutrition processes that were still largely manual. Using GeneXus, the company expanded its confinement management solution to cover the full cattle life cycle, from gestation and rearing through fattening and slaughter, with tighter control over nutrition, costs, and operations.

GeneXus delivered a modular, low-code platform integrated with weighing hardware, remote displays, and long-range transmitters to automate feed planning and loading across mixers and vehicles. The solution reduced labor needs by 5% to 10% and saved 0.6% in feed inputs, generating about R$60,000 in savings for a farm with 9,000 cattle per cycle, while improving accuracy, traceability, and overall control of animal nutrition.
