Atlanta, a sprawling metro area of about 5.5 million people and ten counties, faced severe traffic congestion and pedestrian-safety challenges that prompted a regional transportation referendum on July 31. GeneXus worked with city stakeholders to deliver TransForm Atlanta, a smart‑device application designed to promote citizen involvement and collaboratively manage transit and traffic incident information.

GeneXus’s TransForm Atlanta enables users to post comments, annotate project maps, upload images and video, and interact with project teams, creating a centralized feedback channel. The solution has increased regional engagement—connecting stakeholders across Atlanta’s ten counties and serving roughly 5.5 million residents—and helped optimize planning and project decisions for traffic improvements by aggregating local reports and inputs.
