Asociación Mutual de Productores Tabacaleros de Salta needed to replace a hectare-based fire-insurance calculation with a risk-based premium that required detailed information about curing and drying chambers (stoves). To collect features such as stove material, condition and capacity during on-site inspections, the association worked with Syndeo using GeneXus technology to address the new data-gathering challenge.
Syndeo, as a GeneXus subdistributor, implemented a .NET Mobile/GIS solution built with GeneXus to capture producer and farm registers plus stove details in the field and consolidate them into a central GIS system. The GeneXus-based mobile system streamlined inspector data collection and created centralized, GIS-linked records that enable accurate insurability assessments and more precise premium calculations.
