APDIF Technology Applied To Autism Spectrum Disorder

APDIF is a technology platform that builds free mobile apps to support people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, addressing challenges in communication, daily routines and social inclusion where services and diagnosis are often lacking. To rapidly create cross‑platform, accessible applications, APDIF developed its solutions using GeneXus.

Using GeneXus, APDIF launched four apps—ChatTEA, Interagir, Llevo todo and Ahoraleo—available on iOS and Android and used in Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, the United States and Mexico. The GeneXus-built apps have improved users’ autonomy, self-reliance and self-esteem, are adopted at family and institutional levels, and have produced tangible benefits such as enabling some children to stay home alone for the first time while maintaining communication with caregivers.
