ANDA, a Uruguayan non-profit civil association, wanted to keep pace with digital health services and improve the quality of care for its more than 200,000 members. It turned to GeneXus Consulting to implement Uruguay’s first comprehensive electronic medical records system, centered on patient records and linked to medical data and related services.

GeneXus Consulting worked with ANDA’s medical and systems teams to deploy K2B Health, which digitized medical records and systematized areas such as Pharmacy, Nurse Services, and Medical Appointments Schedule. The result was real-time access to updated patient data, improved confidentiality and security, and support for medical policies through statistical and epidemiological data, making the system one of the most customized in the world.
