Entec Health launches Wound Care Buddy on iOS and Android with Genetic Digital

Entec Health, an ambitious healthcare start-up, required a mobile app SaaS product to sell into the NHS. Their challenge was to create a quick and easy digital guide to wound care treatment and provide healthcare professionals with immediate access to their organization's wound care formulary. They partnered with vendor Genetic Digital to design and develop this solution.

Genetic Digital designed and developed the Wound Care Buddy mobile app for iOS and Android, which included a cloud-based backend. Their solution provided key functionality such as guidance by wound type, an approved formulary list, pricing, and assessment protocols. The app was successfully trialed in a number of NHS Trusts and led to Entec Health's client, Hounslow and Richmond Community NHS Trust, winning the Journal of Community Nursing Award for Outstanding Practice in Wound Care.
