Tan Hiep Phat Beverage Group implements largest single-site security system in Vietnam with Genetec Security unified platform

Tan Hiep Phat Beverage Group, a major Vietnamese beverage manufacturer with 4,000 employees and large-scale production and warehousing near Ho Chi Minh City, faced slow, unreliable investigations and poor image quality from an aging analog surveillance system. Seeking an enterprise-class, IP-based solution that could leverage existing network infrastructure and simplify centralized monitoring, THP engaged Genetec and selected the Genetec Security Center platform (including Omnicast and AutoVu) to modernize its security.

Genetec deployed a unified Security Center solution with Omnicast video surveillance and eight AutoVu license plate recognition cameras, building Vietnam’s largest single-site system with just over 1,200 cameras across 11 servers, 500 TB of archive for 30-day retention, and failover archiving for reliability. The integrated system improved investigation speed and operator response times, enabled mobile monitoring, visual tracking, and LPR-linked evidence for truck movements, and reduced hardware and network load—setting a benchmark for THP and enabling future federation of remote sites under Genetec.
