Puy du Fou secures visitor experience across 740-acre theme park with unified video surveillance, access control, and intercom solutions

Puy du Fou, France’s second-largest theme park, welcomes over 2.5 million visitors annually across a 740‑acre site and needed to centralize and modernize video and access control to protect large crowds, coordinate complex live shows, and manage talent and contractor movement. Their integrator i3S recommended Genetec’s Security Center to replace fragmented systems and provide a unified security platform.

Using Genetec (Security Center with Omnicast and Synergis), Puy du Fou expanded from 120 cameras in 2016 to 490 cameras and 80 access readers, integrated drones, QR-based vendor access, mobile management, intrusion and intercom, and consolidated storage onto ESX servers. The Genetec solution improved image quality and operational visibility, streamlined entry/exit flows and access control, enabled real‑time show monitoring, and scaled to support millions of annual visitors while simplifying IT and preparing the park for international expansion.
