Eurostar Diamond India, a leading diamond manufacturer and wholesaler in Mumbai, needed stronger security to protect high‑value stones and manage numerous visiting brokers. Their existing NVR produced poor video and offered limited features or integration, so after demonstrations by NexGen Integrated Systems they chose Genetec’s Security Center (Omnicast video + Synergis access control) to provide high‑resolution recording, unified monitoring and advanced access controls.

Genetec implemented Security Center with Omnicast managing 64 Axis network cameras and Synergis controlling 34+ HID readers, plus 10 mobile clients, Plan Manager maps, door interlocking, and dual‑authentication; video and data are stored on a 36TB IBM SAN for up to 90 days. The unified solution delivered clear, zoomable video linked to cardholder records, sped up investigations, satisfied insurers, and created a scalable security framework for future expansion.
