The Port of Moerdijk, a large seaport and industrial zone in the Netherlands with over 400 companies and nearly 20,000 people on site, needed to centralize and streamline vast amounts of video and sensor data to maintain safety and coordinate multiple stakeholders. To address data overload and improve incident management, The Port of Moerdijk deployed Genetec solutions, including Genetec Security Center, Genetec Mission Control, and Genetec KiwiVision video analytics.

Genetec unified camera feeds, analytics, license-plate recognition, smartphone/Bluetooth detection and other sensors into a single interface and used Mission Control to map incidents and drive guided response protocols. As a result, operators receive immediate alerts, gain full situational visibility, reduce data overload, and achieve faster, better-coordinated responses with police, fire brigades and other partners—moving most alerting, notification and incident handling into the Genetec platform.
