Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., the leading diamond manufacturer in Surat processing over 720,000 carats annually, needed to protect high‑value stones across a new six‑story plant and two Mumbai headquarters. After their initial IP video software proved limited to 40–50 cameras per server, SRK selected Genetec—deploying Security Center with Omnicast—to gain scalability, improved video clarity and the ability to integrate access control, LPR and asset‑tracking in the future.

Genetec’s Security Center/Omnicast solution now manages over 1,100 IP cameras across three sites, using Multicast to reduce network load so SRK kept existing infrastructure and achieved 100+ cameras per server across seven servers with SAN storage (≈15 days retention). The deployment improved investigations (bookmarking, instant playback, image export), enabled mobile video access for managers, simplified maintenance with Advanced Health Monitoring and trained IT staff, and delivered measurable scalability and cost savings for SRK.
