Genetec implemented a unified Security Center platform with Omnicast VMS, integrating nearly 200 cameras across five districts, mobile viewing for first responders (including regional police, fire and the US Coast Guard), map-based monitoring and health alerts. The solution delivered faster incident response and simpler investigations through instant playback and bookmarking, strict user privileges and audit reporting to protect chain of custody, and centralized storage with a 14‑day retention on a 64 TB SAN—demonstrating measurable operational and security improvements for the City of Cincinnati.
