Agence Code, a boutique graphic design agency in Montreal, faced repeated false intrusion alarms and wanted an easy way to check on their 1,500 sq. ft. office remotely without adding complex servers. To address this, they worked with Genetec and deployed the cloud-based Stratocast video monitoring service.

Genetec’s Stratocast was installed by partner Nuagesight using Axis M3006‑V dome cameras and the Stratocast mobile app, with installation taking only a few hours. The cloud solution (with motion‑triggered recording to save bandwidth and one week of retained video) let owners verify alarms, monitor cleaning staff, and access live and recorded footage from phones or tablets—reducing false alarm dispatches, saving time and fees, and giving the team practical, affordable remote oversight.
