A Genesis Case Study
XP Investments, a tech-focused Brazilian investment firm, was struggling with highly manual back-office processes that relied on Excel and multiple Order Management Systems, including U-link and Bloomberg. These frequent OMS changes disrupted middle-office workflows and made it difficult for XP to scale efficiently. To address this, XP turned to Genesis and its Trade Allocation Manager (TAM) for a more flexible, integrated middle-office solution.
Genesis implemented Trade Allocation Manager (TAM) to provide a centralized, real-time middle-office platform with seamless integration across front-office systems and back-office/custodian platforms. The result was a fivefold increase in efficiency, a significant reduction in staffing costs, and a jump in trade volume from 5,000 to more than 50,000 trades per day, eliminating the need to urgently hire additional middle- or back-office analysts.
