MorphoSys Accelerates Antibody R&D with Genedata Biologics

MorphoSys, a late-stage biopharma pioneer in antibody-based therapies, faced rapidly growing molecule and sample throughput that made it difficult to capture, process, and interpret R&D data and to maintain handovers between discovery teams. To increase R&D efficiency and scale operations, MorphoSys selected Genedata and implemented the Genedata Biologics® enterprise workflow platform as its corporate “data backbone.”

Genedata deployed Genedata Biologics (internally called “Ybase”) as an end-to-end, integrated workflow across discovery units, linking instruments, CRO data, and automated robotic screening for 150 users. The Genedata solution automated reporting and workflows, improved real-time project visibility and decision-making, reduced administrative time by about 25% (over 50% for some standard tasks), and delivered up to more than 50% efficiency gains—enabling a significant scale-up of MorphoSys’ R&D operations.
