Case Study: G&J Pepsi achieves unified, scalable cloud access control with Genea

A Genea Case Study

Preview of the G&J Pepsi Case Study

How G&J Pepsi Unified Its Security

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers (G&J Pepsi), an enterprise with 13 locations and 1,700+ credentialed users, faced outdated on‑premises access control that was hard to scale, costly to integrate with other systems, and limited in software capability. To modernize physical security and simplify administration, G&J Pepsi turned to Genea and its cloud-based Genea Access Control platform.

Genea deployed a solution combining Genea Access Control with non‑proprietary WaveLynx card readers and API integrations to Cisco Meraki VMS and Azure Active Directory, plus a web dashboard for remote administration. The result: centralized, real‑time visibility into badge activity, remote door control, faster provisioning (saving about 60 hours/year for HR), and improved enterprise scalability — with plans to expand Genea to 12 locations and roughly 1,900 users by the end of 2023.
