Buckeye Broadband, a regional high-speed internet, cable TV, and phone provider, needed a more capable digital experience to keep up with competitors and better serve digital-first customers. GeekHive worked with the company to move beyond using Magento as a makeshift CMS, while also preparing for the integration of a new cloud-based billing platform, CSG.

GeekHive implemented a progressively decoupled Drupal 8 solution with Layout Builder, reusable components, Pantheon hosting, and a ReactJS-based front end to connect Drupal with Buckeye Broadband’s proprietary billing system. The result was a more secure, scalable website with faster performance, improved content editing, streamlined customer experience, and enhanced eCommerce conversion tracking, while also creating a framework ready for a smoother Drupal 9 upgrade.
