Backed by $131M in funding and serving 5 million monthly users, Housing’s Business Intelligence team, led by Darpan Khurana, faced a challenge: fragmented in-house tools, spreadsheets and analytics left the organization without real-time, company-wide visibility into performance.

The team built a connected data stack—combining Google Sheets, Google Analytics and custom widgets tied to internal databases—and displayed key metrics on eight TVs across departments. That 24/7 visibility created a data-driven culture (“data is the new soil”), increased accountability, gave employees clear ways to impact KPIs, and improved operational transparency and performance.
