Case Study: Shoreditch Grind achieves real-time business health visibility to drive growth with Geckoboard

A Geckoboard Case Study

Preview of the Shoreditch Grind Case Study

Geckoboard helps Shoreditch Grind monitor business health to determine direction of growth

Shoreditch Grind (Grind & Co.), founded in 2011, operates espresso bars, cocktail bars and restaurants across London. As the business expanded, founder David Abrahamovitch struggled to keep on top of KPIs spread across multiple systems and needed a mobile-optimised way for staff and managers to view real-time performance without logging into many services.

Geckoboard provided five dashboards (site-level, group-level and marketing) that pull sales, customer counts, average spend and service-time data (via Revel tills) into one view, with alerts when coffee service exceeds a four-minute target. The visible, real-time data improved staffing and capacity decisions, created friendly competition between sites, and gave management the margin insight needed to make better decisions for growth and expansion.
