Casper is a New York–based e‑commerce mattress company launched in 2014 that quickly gained traction — hitting $1M in sales in its first month and attracting notable investors. Facing long sales cycles and a need to maintain high standards across product, marketing and customer experience, Casper lacked real-time visibility into leading indicators and needed a way to respond quickly to trends and unexpected spikes in demand.

Casper deployed Geckoboard dashboards (eight public dashboards, two shown on office TVs) to monitor performance hourly, daily and weekly, with dashboards evolving from high-level views to team-specific, granular insights. This real-time visibility let teams anticipate PR-driven traffic, scale customer support during spikes (for example after a Kylie Jenner Instagram post), and act immediately—improving responsiveness, preserving customer experience and driving increased sales.
