The challenge involved transferring all tasks including charges, billings, payments, and denials management while meeting strict service level agreements for processing times and reducing a significant backlog of old accounts receivable (AR).

The solution implemented by GeBBS Healthcare Solutions included a detailed tracking and reconciliation system for both the old and new platforms, a dedicated team for denials and old AR, and targeted strategies to address global issues. As a result, the old AR was reduced from $78 million to $35 million in just four months, with approximately $4 million collected. GeBBS successfully met all SLAs for the new Kareo system, and the client was so satisfied with the performance that they added two more clients to the engagement.
