Rapid Fire Arms - Customer Case Study

Rapid Fire Arms, a Sandy, Oregon firearms retailer founded by Brian Coleman, faced the challenge of running a high-touch retail operation with a small team while reducing paperwork, speeding ordering and receiving, and growing its online presence. To address these needs they implemented AXIS Point of Sale and, in March 2020, switched to Gearfire Payments through vendor Gearfire to integrate payments and back‑office workflows.

Gearfire’s solution combined AXIS POS automation (inventory, ordering/receiving and electronic 4473 handling) with integrated Gearfire Payments, streamlining checkout, improving customer-data tracking and cutting time spent on paperwork and background tasks. As a result Rapid Fire Arms lowered staff workload and costs, freed employees to focus on face‑to‑face service, and created a uniform, more scalable shopping experience that supports the owner’s plans for additional locations and expanded eCommerce—benefits delivered by Gearfire.
