Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin selects a GoldSeal MR system for a brand new full-service facility

Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin, the state’s largest independent orthopedic specialty practice, needed to move into a brand-new 90,000-square-foot facility without disrupting its high-volume MRI services. To avoid the cost and complexity of relocating its existing 1.5T system, the practice worked with GE Healthcare to evaluate an alternative that would preserve image quality, patient access, and operational continuity.

GE Healthcare recommended a GoldSeal refurbished MR system, complete with software upgrades, applications training, installation support, a one-year warranty, and a post-warranty service agreement. The system was installed on schedule and below budget, with only a two-day gap in MR imaging, no unplanned downtime after go-live, and improved image quality and patient flow for the orthopedic team.
