Case Study: Oklahoma State University Medical Center improves cardiology workflow with GE Healthcare Centricity Cardio Enterprise

A GE Healthcare Case Study

Preview of the Oklahoma State University Medical Center Case Study

Innovating with Centricity Cardio Enterprise

Oklahoma State University Medical Center needed a way to unify cardiology data across multiple systems and support faster, more informed decisions in a complex cardiovascular care environment. GE Healthcare’s Centricity Cardio Enterprise, including Centricity Universal Viewer and Centricity Cardio Workflow, was used to help connect disparate modalities and give clinicians remote access to patient data, images, and reports.

GE Healthcare implemented integrated stress echo and broader cardiology workflow capabilities so Oklahoma State University Medical Center could review modalities in one place, reduce manual steps, and speed reporting. The hospital reported that the stress echo integration saved about 30–45 minutes per procedure, helping doctors read reports faster and improving workflow efficiency and care delivery.
