Children’s Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Surgery Associates, LLP, a St. Petersburg, Fla.-based pediatric orthopaedic practice, turned to GE Healthcare when its outdated practice management system started slowing operations and hurting cash flow. The practice was struggling with more than 35% of A/R over 120 days outstanding, slow payment cycles, and the need to manage claims efficiently with a lean staff while handling a high volume of Medicaid and commercial cases.
