Israel’s National Water Company (Mekorot), which supplies 70% of Israel’s water and 80% of its drinking water, faced rising production costs and sharply growing demand in an arid climate. To tighten process control, improve energy and operational efficiency, and enable real-time decision-making, Mekorot deployed GE Digital’s automation stack, including PACSystems high-availability controllers and GE Digital HMI/SCADA for centralized monitoring.

GE Digital implemented a redundant PACSystems high-availability solution with full-controller backup and a single-control-center HMI/SCADA view, allowing continuous 24/7 operation even during system upgrades.
