Google Display Network (GDN) Performance For The Grommet

The Grommet, a curated product‑launch marketplace that features a new maker product every weekday, engaged GE Digital to increase membership signups by improving Google Display Network (GDN) creatives using cross‑channel A/B testing insights. The core challenge was to translate learnings from paid search and other channels into more effective GDN ads and a higher‑converting signup experience.

GE Digital implemented refreshed GDN creatives (new headline “Amazing Products you’ve never seen” and a stronger CTA) and redesigned the landing page with a prominent registration wall highlighting coupons, daily launch updates, and a $10 referral incentive. As a result, GE Digital drove a 77% lift in CTR, a more than 300% improvement in CVR, and a 78% reduction in CPA when comparing June–July 2013 to Sept.–Oct. 2013.
