International Personal Finance (IPF), the world’s largest home credit business with 1.7 million customers across 10 international markets, faced a monumental task replacing its credit decision systems. They needed a solution that handled originations, account management and collections while being configurable by credit teams without heavy IT involvement. IPF selected GDS Link and its Modellica originations solution to meet these requirements.
GDS Link implemented Modellica after successful pilots in two territories and rolled it out across all IPF home credit markets. The platform’s built-in flexibility let credit risk users make strategy adjustments with little to no delay and without costly development, supported by 24-hour service, configurable links to nine credit bureaus, and a lower cost than competing providers — enabling rapid responses to changing conditions (including post‑Covid challenges) while serving IPF’s global customer base.
