A GDH Case Study
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) faced an urgent humanitarian crisis requiring them to rapidly staff a new facility to care for a surge of unaccompanied minors. The challenge for HHS and its federal contracting partner was to quickly hire over 800 qualified bilingual staff while navigating stringent background checks and health screenings. GDH was engaged to provide strategic talent acquisition to meet this critical need.
GDH implemented a targeted solution using social media campaigns on platforms like Facebook and Instagram to source candidates, supplemented by community referrals. A five-person GDH project team also worked onsite to support the hiring and integration of staff. As a result, GDH successfully hired over 800 workers across three shifts in a remarkably short timeframe, maintaining these staffing levels for the project's duration to provide continuous care and support.
