Algorithmics Marseille inspires 12 kids per workshop with GDevelop

Algorithmics Marseille, a French private educational institution, sought to inspire creativity and problem-solving in children as young as nine through STEM education. The challenge was to find an accessible tool that could teach game development and key technical concepts like logic and programming without overwhelming the young students. They turned to the vendor GDevelop to serve as a core part of their curriculum.

Using GDevelop, the school ran five-day workshops where children learned to create their own games from specifications. The solution included bilingual instruction and collaborative learning, supported by teachers who guided students through design thinking.
