Case Study: eSanté National Agency launches Luxembourg telemedicine platform with Gcore

How we developed and launched the telemedicine platform for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

The Agence eSanté (eSanté National Agency), needed to urgently deploy a secure telemedicine platform for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to facilitate remote healthcare access for citizens during the COVID-19 lockdown. Gcore, in partnership with the Wagner Group, was commissioned to develop a web application that would enable secure audio and video consultations while ensuring all patient data remained on dedicated, in-country servers.

Gcore developed and launched the eConsult platform in a record six months, utilizing their expertise in streaming and a dedicated cloud infrastructure. The solution provided a secure, browser-based application with features like encrypted WebRTC video calls and a built-in prescription tool. The successful deployment resulted in a fully functional platform that is now used by thousands of patients and healthcare professionals across Luxembourg.
