YIT, a major Finnish urban developer and construction company, needed a more efficient way to manage apartment and office projects across customers, project teams, and construction sites. Before working with GBuilder, YIT relied on text-heavy, manual documents, spreadsheets, paper records, email, and phone calls, making it difficult for customers to visualize options and for teams to keep track of changes, defects, and material choices.

GBuilder implemented a BIM-based Common Data Environment and home configurator that gave YIT a single digital platform for customer selections, 3D apartment visualizations, change requests, reporting, and real-time construction data. As a result, YIT improved customer experience, reduced errors and delays, streamlined communication, and saved time and resources on site by ordering the right materials and tracking work more accurately, including on projects such as Tripla with over 400 apartments.
