Largest Voluntary, Non-Profit Healthcare Organization - Customer Case Study

GAVS Technologies worked with a large voluntary, non-profit healthcare organization serving the South and Central Bronx in New York. The organization needed to upgrade its aging 100 Mbps campus network, improve reliability and availability, increase WAN speed for VPN and remote access, and reduce infrastructure complexity and operating costs.

GAVS Technologies redesigned the network using Juniper EX 8216 switches, SRX 3400 service gateways, SA 4200 VPN appliances, and Secure Anytime Series access, while migrating routing to OSPF and adding redundant, high-availability components. The new setup delivered more than 40 times greater network capacity, improved resiliency with a 20GbE fibre ring and 10GbE links per fibre strand, and was reported to cost 15-20 percent less than the closest alternative.
