End-to-End Testing of Multimedia Product using 4G/5G Testbed

GAVS Technologies worked with a telecom company that had developed an On the Call Multimedia Solution to play video on the caller’s phone while ringing. The company needed independent validation of the solution in a production-like ViLTE setup with real IMS, EPC, and UEs, and the testing challenge was to verify complex end-to-end call flows, interoperability, and real-device behavior.

GAVS Technologies provided Lab as a Service using its 4G/5G testbed for integration testing and end-to-end functional testing. The team built a private ViLTE lab, integrated the customer’s application server with IMS and EPC networks, and tested the solution with softphones and multiple real mobile phones from different vendors. This uncovered integration, interoperability, and protocol-compliance issues that had not appeared in simulation, improved solution stability, and gave the customer confidence to present the product to end customers.
