Museum of Craft and Design more than doubles membership with Gauger + Associates

The Museum of Craft and Design, a boutique museum in San Francisco, faced a critical challenge when it lost its Union Square location and needed to maintain public awareness during its search for a new home. The vendor, Gauger + Associates, was engaged to provide marketing and design services to address this challenge.

Gauger + Associates created a top-of-mind awareness campaign featuring posters and billboards that directed visitors to a series of pop-up exhibitions throughout the city. After the museum relocated to the Dogpatch neighborhood, the agency continued its marketing efforts with a full suite of services including brand strategy, advertising, and collateral design. The work by Gauger + Associates led to membership more than doubling and attendance for museum events and children's programs reaching historic levels, in addition to receiving national recognition and numerous design awards.
